Kathleen Laura is a Virginia based actress, singer, dancer and teacher who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at James Madison University.
When she is not performing or teaching, you can find her enjoying a night in with her fiance and cats (Gigi and Fifi), spending time with her adorable nieces, or at her local farmers market.

Kathleen Laura returns to the stage in Riverside Center for the Performing Arts production of The Bridges of Madison County as Carolyn johnson! After taking a small break to pursue her love of teaching dance, she is thrilled to be back on stage, starting September 20th!

Kathleen Laura recently made her Feinstein’s/54 Below debut, checking off one of her lifelong dreams! She was able to sing with her graduating class of James Madison University, as well as JMU Broadway Alums such as Jacob Dickey (Aladdin, Emojiland) and Lina Lee (Miss Saigon). Side Show the Musical
Kathleen is thrilled to announce she will be rounding out her college career playing Daisy Hilton in James Madison University’s Mainstage production of Sideshow the Musical!
Open/Stay
Kathleen Laura recently got the honor of being in a workshop of a brand new song cycle titled Open/Stay, written and composed by fellow James Madison University student Anna DeNoia! They were able to create an original cast recording from this performance. Check out DeNoia’s sensational music on spotify!
The Prizery
Kathleen just wrapped up a summer contract at The Prizery in South Boston! She performed in Mary Poppins (directed by Joe Rosko) and Mamma Mia! (directed by Tyler McKenzie).
